Carolina Healthcare System Charlotte, NC 12 months 28 per cohort, variable Center for Advanced Practice Fellowship The Advanced Clinical Practitioner fellowship at Carolinas HealthCare System provides exposure to an array of complex disease processes and patient populations in acute, primary and urgent care settings. With focus on developed competence and confidence, this transition-to-practice program prepares the advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) to deliver superior patient care while in a protected learning environment. The one year, post-graduate fellowship programs are appropriate for new nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistant (PA) graduates, as well as advanced clinical practitioners wishing to change disciplines or career paths . Our graduates will have comfort and competence in the care of critically ill patients, the broad scope of emergent presentations, and the skills necessary to be leaders in their profession.
