The mission of the NSU PA program is to produce qualified, compassionate and competent physician assistants for medically underserved populations of northeastern Oklahoma and the surrounding region. Although the NSU PA program endeavors to care for all underserved Oklahomans, populations that have historically been the focus of our mission include American Indians, as well as rural and Black communities in Oklahoma.

Montefiore Medical Center Bronx, NY 12 months 2Students OB-GYN Physician Assistant Residency Program Montefiore Medical Center is an internationally recognized leader in modern healthcare research and education. With highly competitive residency programs in all aspects of medicine, it is affiliated with one of the most prestigious medical schools in the nation, Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM). The Montefiore Post-Graduate Residency is a 12-month, full-time postgraduate residency program offering intensive training in obstetrics and gynecology. PA residents are trained alongside the OB/GYN physician residents and are exposed to the management of OB/GYN patients in a variety of settings and circumstances. The PA-Resident will have rotations focused on Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum services, along with rotations on the GYN and GYN oncology services, including ultrasound and surgical instruction. Upon completion of this residency, the PA should be competent in performing vaginal deliveries, 1st assisting in Cesarean deliveries and gynecological surgeries, and performing office-based gynecological procedures.

Mayo Clinic Arizona Phoenix, AZ 12 months 1 Students Physician Assistant Fellowship, Hospital Internal Medicine (Arizona) Program description Mayo School of Health Sciences offers a 12-month postgraduate Physician Assistant Fellowship in Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona. The program trains highly qualified graduate physician assistants (PAs) to become skilled, compassionate and efficient hospital-based PAs. The curriculum contains diverse didactic instruction and direct patient care clinical experience, embedded in the foundation of Mayo Clinic: excellence in patient care, education and research. This program provides the graduate PA with the training needed to provide the utmost quality of care to hospitalized patients.
